Tessa M Osborne is a regular person who lives a fairly boring life in Reno, Nevada
Tessa graduated high school when she was sixteen, and since then she has set the world on fire with her complaining, sarcastic comments, and awkward interactions with people. She graduated college the first time in 2010 with a degree in dance, again in 2018 with a degree with English, again in 2023 with her nursing degree, and AGAIN in 2025 with her bachelors in nursing. She is currently 500 hour certified in Yoga, certified in Buti Yoga, prenatal yoga, kids yoga, and meditation. She has had the following careers:
Dog walker, dance instructor, personal assistant, piano instructor, Yoga instructor, manager of a yoga studio, co-owner of a yoga studio, president of a non-profit organization, editor, author, and birth doula. She also spent a few months teaching English to children in foreign countries online, and tried substitute teaching for children in the United States, and promptly lost her mind and decided never to go back. After all of those careers, she finally graduated from nursing school. She has been a Postpartum nurse for almost three years now. She has also been a hospice nurse and psych nurse. In addition to her work on Postpartum, she is passionate about women’s health and works as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). She hopes to one day work solely in the field of women’s health, continuing to ensure all women have a voice in their own healthcare.
All This Time in the Dark was published in 2020. Her next book, Stories from a Nursing Student, will be published in 2027. Stories From a Nursing Student focuses on her story through nursing school and beyond. She hopes to continue writing until she is 100 years old.
